"I thought karate was just for kicking and punching, but it wasn't too easy to do so....!", Josh.

Karate is total fitness. To do kick or punch, we have to train forms, the strength of muscle, flexibility, and everything. Regardless of your age, gender, social status, etc, karate is the best fit for everybody's exercise needs.

“Karate is a well-round training method. To do kick or punch, we have to train forms, power, speed, flexibility, and all elements of movements. The virtue of this training is that you do not need to do as same as other people, but you can pace your own.” Shihan Ito

Some karate techniques require building certain muscles and learning those karate techniques contributes to building your body.

For example, you will create a beautiful hip line when you practice back kick. To train punches, you must do pushups. Karateka( karate practitioner) usually has beautiful upper body muscles because of many years of training in pushups.
