There are different reasons to do karate. Why do you want to do karate or why did you start karate?
In the 1970s Bruce Lee gave us a huge impact on our eyes. On the screens in the movie theaters, his martial arts skills and poetic justice stories fascinated many people. When we learned about his young age of death, we were all sad because we could not see him anymore on the screens. Sooner later, Jackie Chan appeared in front of the audience. His comedic kung-fu action entertained us all.

In 1984, Karate Kids came to the theaters. Miyagi-san and Daniel-san taught us important life lessons. Power against power often did not work. To be good at karate, Daniel-san needed effective training with concentration even in a short period of preparation time. Once he decided to learn karate, he needed to act first without thinking too much. Those actions built a foundation.
But the most important single thing was to learn karate with goodwill.
“We need Daniel-san in our dojo. Learning Karate with goodwill makes our lives totally changed. After years, Daniel-san become like Miyagi-san. Now he can teach his own students.”
