Black Belt! What does it mean for you?

Many people often ask, "how long does it take to get a black belt?"

The answer would be a few years to several years. It really depends on how much you put effort into your training. Also, some people need 3 days to master one kick, but others need 3 months. Some people do not care about the progression, just enjoying the training. Probably the most important thing is finding meaning in Karate and its training. If you do so, a black belt will come to you naturally.

Just one thing which I want you to understand.

“Black Belt does not give you value, but you the one give value on your Black Belt.”

Through years of hard training, you can build your character. We expect you to have a strong body, mind, spirit, and wisdom. That makes you a kind and caring person. We are not just learning how to beat up people. More likely, we are learning patience and how to control ourselves.

Black Belt

We are supposed to wear a black belt with pride and confidence because of intense hard training, not just the length of training!

But don't be scared about the hard training. Our training has steps. Always start from something easy. Repetition always makes it easier and brings us to the next higher stage.
